The Opportunity 
 
The Communications Senior Specialist in Romania is tasked with developing and implementing tailored internal communication plans, ensuring timely execution of regional and global campaigns, and fostering cohesion across functions. They serve as the key liaison for media inquiries, align external communications with External Communications COE, and contribute to employer branding initiatives. Responsible for brand stewardship, they enforce corporate identity guidelines and collaborate with regional COEs on implementing brand standards. Additionally, the Special Specialist coordinates community engagement activities, including event participation, volunteer programs, and addressing community inquiries. 
 
Main Duties And Responsibilities 
 

Internal Communication  

 

  • Develop and implement a tailored internal communication plan for Romania, considering local culture, needs, and audience. 

  • Ensure timely and relevant execution of regional and global campaigns, and address internal communication needs by adapting strategies and content as required. 

  • Continuously develop and enhance the local internal communication infrastructure and communications channels and ensure consistency in messaging across all communication platforms. 

  • Drive internal initiatives that foster associate engagement in Romania. 

  • Foster a cohesive approach to internal communication by coordinating efforts across different functions based in Romania. 

  • Actively measure the success of all local internal communication programs and initiatives. 

 

        External Communication 

 

  • Act as the principal liaison for media inquiries related to corporate matters, with a particular focus on Goodyear's presence as an employer in Romania.  

  • Align external communications seamlessly with the company's values and goals, reinforcing a positive and compelling narrative about Goodyear's role as an employer of choice in Romania. 

  • Collaborate with the External Communications COE to cultivate and expand a network of influential media contacts.  

  • Contribute to the success of employer branding initiatives aimed at attracting and retaining top talent. 

 

Brand Stewardship 

  • Uphold and enforce corporate identity (CI) guidelines in Goodyear Romania to maintain a cohesive and recognizable brand presence in the location. 

  • Oversee on-site branding initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate branding standards. 

  • Collaborate with regional COEs  implement and localize brand standards effectively. 

Community engagement 

 

Community engagement 

  • Coordinate participation of Goodyear Romania in community events and sponsorships.​ 

  • Collaborate with non-profit organizations to develop volunteer programs and initiatives.​ 

  • Respond to community inquiries and concerns, addressing them appropriately
