Head - Capabilty & Sales Training

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

  • Enable and support Goodyear’s Premiumization drive by advancing key account management skills, sales competencies and build feature based selling mindset among the sales associates.

  • Perform training needs analysis (TNA) for the sales teams to understand the training scope and requirement.

  • Obtain due alignement on the insights from TNA and action plan to address the opportunities prioritized by the business.

  • Develop and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships with Sales Operations, Sales leaders, HR to facilitate capability building programs.

  • Execution excellence in ensuring timely delivery of approved annual and quarterly sales training calender.

  • Conceptualize and align on metrics for sales training effectiveness and regular sharing of these progress indicators with the Business leadership

  • Network and partner with external training agencies as per the agreed calender for capability building solutions.

  • Participate in relevant external/internal forums to adopt best practices and emerging technological trends and innovations.

  • Development of sales enablement tools e.g., ROI calculators, product comparisons with competitions, sales arguments for objection handling etc.

  • Partner with external agencies and develop Mobile phone-based learning solutions e.g., learning bites, product training refreshers, product quiz etc.

Experience

  • 12+ years relevant work experience (sales + training) in mid- to large-scale organizations of repute.

  • 5+ years of experience leading a sales team.

  • Robust exposure of sales processes conceptualization and implementation

  • Robust experience of building Sales curriculums underpinned by the principles of 70/20/10 blended learning.
