Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement TR programs (including driving awareness , understanding , accurate interpretation , governance and administration), policies and processes; job evaluation and classification; salary administration; short-term and sales incentive plans; employee benefits; expatriate compensation; executive compensation administration; workers compensation; salary packaging and retirement plans in India

  • Partner with India/Regional TR to liaise with functional or business managers to develop and implement local TR strategies

  • Analyze and evaluate external market data as well as internal data about current associates population and future human resource needs in order to develop salary budgets and forecasts

  • Ensure timely review / update of existing TR policies/offerings to inculcate best practices to support company operations and strategy meeting with local legislations while striving to increase efficiency and reduce cost

  • Lead annual Salary and merit planning process and ensure annual and mid cycle changes stay consistent with Org guidelines

  • Manage all aspects of C&B offerings , administration associated with new hires, transfers ,terminations and  promotions leading to change in associates compensation and benefits

  • Partner with India/Regional TR to select and manage on-going relationships with external consultants and suppliers (for example, insurance carriers, actuaries, benefit providers, survey companies) to ensure satisfactory standards of service

  • Serve as a project leader or a SME in a project team to lead, direct, and evaluate TR initiatives in order to ensure that the organization’s TR strategy is implemented effectively

 

Experience

 

  • 10+ years TR experience in MNCs or consulting  organizations

  • Intensive experience on TR core modules such as Job evaluation, merit increase planning, incentive program design and implementation, reward and recognition programs etc

  • Ability to contract with external agencies to understand / interpret market trends and use it to refine TR strategy/plans

  • TR experience at plant /manufacturing sector and cross-country experience is preferred

  • Experience with Workday is a plus
