Digital Change Manager

The primary purpose of the Digital Transformation Change Manager role is to spearhead a holistic approach to organizational evolution, centered around the development of digital dexterity and agility.

 

By leading a cultural transformation, orchestrating effective change management strategies, advocating for education and upskilling, and fostering cross-departmental communication, the Change Manager empowers the organization to embrace digital innovation and achieve sustainable growth and success in an increasingly digital world.

Through visionary leadership, and a commitment to fostering a digitally savvy workforce, the Digital Transformation Change Manager paves the way for the organization to thrive amidst ongoing technological disruption and transformation.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

Develop Change Management Strategy & Plans:
-    Develop a robust change management strategy & plans for digital transformation initiatives. This includes defining the changes and impacted groups, assessing organization readiness for change, conducting stakeholder analysis, identifying potential barriers and resistance points, and designing interventions to promote acceptance and adoption of digital initiatives at all levels of the organization. 
-    Set clear objectives, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for change initiatives.
-    Champion a cultural shift that values experimentation, continuous learning, and agility in response to technological advancements and market dynamics by utilizing creative and state-of-the-art change management techniques to facilitate adoption and mitigate resistance.
Execute Change Management Plans:
-    Lead the execution of change management plans, including coordination of activities and resources.
-    Monitor progress and performance against established KPIs. Evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives and make adjustments as needed.
-    Identify barriers to change and develop strategies to overcome them.
-    Create a change network within the organization to support implementation and sustainment, provide guidelines and define way of working for change network that are in line with the change strategy.
Organizational Upskilling to Enable Digital Transformation:
-    Develop and implement the organizational level upskilling plan that enables associates to leverage digital tools and processes effectively. Champion the adoption of new digital tools and processes within the organization.
-    Design and deliver learning programs and activities to promote innovation, agility, and adaptability.
-    Provide ongoing guidance, thought leadership and resources for continuous learning and development related to Digital Transformation.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
-    Develop and execute communication plans to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
-    Use creative and impactful methods to communicate digital concepts to the organization, and help associates see how the change will impact their work.
-    Build relationships with stakeholders to build trust and collaboration. Facilitate open and transparent communication channels to address concerns and solicit feedback.
-    Act as a liaison between project teams, leadership, and employees to ensure alignment and clarity.

 

Education & Certifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Management, IT, or a related discipline

Preferred: 

  • Master's degree or advanced certification in Change Management, Organizational Development.
  • Change Management Certification (i.e. ADKAR)
  • Digital Transformation related Certification

 

Experience, Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Proven experience of successfully leading and managing organizational change initiatives under Digital Tranformation context.
  • Experience in independently developing and implementing change management strategies and plans.
  • Demonstrated creative approach in leading digital change and communication efforts.
  • Mastery of state-of-the-art change management principles and methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills, with a focus on planning, executing, and monitoring complex projects.
  • Familiarity with digital technologies, trends, innovations, , and best practices relevant to digital transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices, with experience in iterative and incremental delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to inspire and influence stakeholders and foster collaboration.
  • Ability to navigate organizational politics, manage conflicts, and build trust across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess situations, identify root causes, and develop data-driven insights.
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
