Tax Manager

Job Requirements:

• You must have a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy or Finance;  CPA is required
• You must have 7-10 years relevant  experience, with at least 3-5 years exposure  in a regulatory team or with close collaboration with Philippine authorities such as PEZA, BIR including audit and SEC
• You must have an applied knowledge in Philippine taxes (e.g. corporate, individual, withholding, property taxes) and familiarity with international taxes and tranfer pricing in Asia Pacific region
• You must have an International tax experience with understanding of transfer pricing requirements
• You must have an experience in financial, management and statutory reporting
• Your prior exposure in working in  or partnering with  shared services or BPO environment is preferred
• Your experience in navigating through SAP is a plus

Job Responsibilities: 

• You will manage country (i.e. PH ) tax compliance and timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and or annual tax returns and reports to regulatory bodies of Philippines
• You will manage tax accounting and internal reporting process such as intercompany export analysis for  transfer pricing compliance, annual tax package, internal transfer pricing documents, tax accruals and tax reconciliationschedules
• You will oversee timely and accurate  completion of withholding taxes
• You will manage completion of the transfer pricing (TP) report in partnership with Regional (Asia Pacific)  /Global Tax department and external Tax Advisor for Philippines and APAC and supporting ad-hoc request on TP from various APAC  countries
• You will handle tax planning, tax governance  and compliance review for new system implementation/merger
• You will keep abreast of regulatory knowledge (e.g. PEZA/SEC/BIR) for Phiippines and other countries in Asia Pacific and/or other international standard-setting organizations (e.g. Transfer Pricing) , update internal documentations or policies as necessary
