Primary Purpose of the Position

The Hosting Services Senior Analyst is a service supporting role primarily responsible for the transitional and operational tasks and duties in support of hosting service implementations that span across a broad range of global services and solutions (Server, Storage, Linux/Windows Operating Systems, Virtualization, and Datacenter Facilities)

This position will be a member of the Global IT Infrastructure Services organization responsible for professional and technical work related to hosting services.

• Service Transition Processes: Knowledge Management, Change Management, Asset & Configuration Management, Release & Deployment, Transition Planning & Support, Service Validation & Testing, Evaluation
• Service Operation Processes: Incident Management, Problem Management, Event Management, Request Fulfillment, Access Management, Operations Management
• Supports existing services and assists in deployment
• Works with/across global/regional/local IT teams by consulting with more senior level team members. Provides intermediate consultation for responsible services
• Participate as team member on medium/large projects. Provides technical leadership for small project teams
• Lead beginner to intermediate problem resolution and documentation typically impacting a functional area.  Participates in troubleshooting complex problems which may span functional areas
• Plan, document, and implement system changes
• Perform reporting against their area of support
• Leverage data to identify, justify, recommend and implement system improvements, which leverage new or existing technologies
• Troubleshoot intermediate problems reported by internal customers, systems, or team members; escalating to upper level associates as appropriate
• Monitor, debug, and install hosting solutions as well as related software and systems. Incumbent may be required to do intermediate configuration or system modifications
• Perform intermediate complexity service requests, installs, upgrades, refreshes, backups, restores, patching, granting access, modifying configurations, gathering KPI data using well-defined processes
