About the Position
As a member of the Corporate Strategy team, the primary function of the Associate Corporate Strategy role is to manage, support and/or assist with the execution of key strategic initiatives, corporate planning efforts, or ad-hoc requests as required by the Senior Leadership Team. You will support the research, analysis, synthesis and reporting process that contributes to solving high-impact problems and develop actionable solutions for the most challenging issues and opportunities facing the company, often in collaboration with other functions/businesses and under the guidance of the Director Corporate Strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis to help develop market intelligence and insights on key industry trends (technology, intellectual property [IP], competitors, consumers, regulatory, etc.) and their strategic implications to Goodyear.
- Support the identification/deconstruction of business issues and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analyses to derive strategic recommendations - Guiding the strategic direction of Goodyear and providing paths forward to grow the company's long-term business plan.
- Prepare presentations, reporting materials, and financial models that support the decision-making of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
- Assist in the execution of the global strategic planning process, including regular reporting across key performance indicators (KPIs), key business areas, strategic initiatives, and other aspects needed to monitor progress across strategic imperatives.
- Contribute to execution against time-sensitive requests from the SLT and cross-functional business partners.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors’ degree
- 5 or more years of experience in Strategy Consulting or as a member of a Corporate Strategy team at a larger corporate employer.
- Proven experience in Market Intelligence, Competitive Analysis and Corporate Strategy desired.

- High emotional intelligence with strong verbal/written communication skills that educate, influence or help build consensus with key stakeholder
