About the Position

Coordinate, implement, and maintain all administrative functions of the Global Security Department to include department budget, purchase orders, security vendors and anything else that may be designated by the Director, Global Security & Investigations. Manage and approve all invoices received from security vendors, track spend and transfer charges to the appropriate Company cost centers. Develop, organize, and maintain filing and follow-up systems that meet the department's objectives.  Monitor and maintain emails, calendar of appointments and meetings by scheduling and coordinating appropriately for the Director, Global Security & Investigations. On occasions, coordinate and arrange travel for the Director. Review and process all inquiries, office correspondence and communications using discretion to resolve issues of inquiries and distribute material to appropriate department personnel. Maintain and process department records and documents of highly sensitive and/or confidential information. Manage the Active Shooter Training program, Goodyear Alert mass communication platform, and the department's SharePoint site. On occasion, travel to business locations to support Global Security operations.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Maintain annual budgets for Global Investigations, Security, and Emergency Services. Create, track, and manage purchase orders for all security vendors. Order and track supplies for the security department

  • Review, manage, and approve all invoices received from security vendors as well as track spend with all security vendors. Create new security vendors in Goodyear system and manage monthly transfers to appropriate Company cost centers as well as quarterly accruals. 

  • Assist with investigations, security details and the Executive Protection Program. Manage the Active Shooter Training program and coordinate trainings. Administer the Company's emergency mass communication platform, Goodyear Alert. Conduct trainings and provide support to all business locations utilizing Goodyear Alert. Administer the Global Security SharePoint site. Actively participate as a member of the Business Continuity Tactical Team representing Global Security. Assist as needed with any day-to-day security related matters, projects, and assignments.      

  • Enter all Non-Goodyear Associate Confidentiality & Intellectual Property Agreement (NACIPA) documents. Gather, organize, and enter all F-408's into record retention.

  • Monitor and maintain emails, calendar of appointments and meetings by scheduling and coordinating appropriately for the Director, Global Security & Investigations. On occasion, coordinate and arrange business travel for the Director.   

 

 

Required Experience and Education:

  • Associate degree or higher required

  • Minimum 2 years security experience in a corporate environment

  • Previous experience working with budgets and accounts payable

 

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Customer service, multi-tasking, organizational and prioritization skills are essential

  • Proficient with MS Office applications

  • Strong organizational & problem-solving skills

  • Ability to communicate & collaborate effectively with multiple levels of the organization and associates

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic team environment
