Director of Goodyear Media
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Director of Goodyear Media to lead the execution of Goodyear’s media strategy across North America. This role will be focused on driving media performance for the Goodyear brand specifically, ensuring the development, implementation, and optimization of media strategies across multiple channels such as digital, broadcast, streaming, audio, and out-of-home (OOH). The Director of Goodyear Brand Media will be accountable for delivering measurable results that align with Goodyear’s broader marketing goals while working closely with internal stakeholders across marketing, analytics, and creative teams to ensure seamless and impactful media execution.
Job Duties / Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Media Strategy Execution:
- Implement and optimize Goodyear’s paid media strategies, including digital, broadcast, streaming, audio, and OOH, ensuring alignment with overall brand goals and marketing objectives.
- Campaign Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of Goodyear media campaigns across all channels, ensuring high engagement, visibility, and conversions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Head of Media, North America, Global Marketing, Creative, Strategy, and Analytics teams to ensure the alignment of media strategies with Goodyear’s business priorities and brand identity.
- Media Performance Optimization:
- Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of Goodyear media campaigns, making adjustments based on data insights to optimize ROI and improve key performance metrics.
- Budget Oversight:
- Assist in the management and efficient allocation of the Goodyear brand media budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve maximum impact.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Regularly report on campaign performance, providing insights, learnings, and recommendations to the Head of Media, North America and senior stakeholders.
- Innovation and Industry Trends:
- Stay current on emerging media trends, technologies, and best practices, bringing forward innovative strategies and tools to keep Goodyear’s media presence competitive and effective.
- Retail Media Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Shopper Marketing and Retail Media teams to drive initiatives that enhance retail visibility and consumer conversion for Goodyear products.
KEY EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in media, brand marketing, or a related field, with a focus on paid media strategy and execution for large brands.
- Expertise in media channels including digital, broadcast, streaming, audio, and OOH, with a deep understanding of their roles in driving consumer behavior and brand engagement.
- Proven experience in media campaign execution, with a strong understanding of how to optimize for performance and ROI.
KEY SKILLS
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data and insights to influence strategy and decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and levels of the organization.
