Position Description
The FP&A Manager will partner with the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) finance teams to provide meaningful financial analysis and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This position will execute monthly processes (including consolidating financial outlook, driving forecast accuracy, and tracking progress towards achievement of total company financial targets). In addition, this position is responsible for coordinating the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, supporting Investor Relations with quarterly earnings releases, and preparing financial analysis and presentations for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the Board of Directors.
Primary Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Corporate and the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) FP&A Functions. Ensure there is a thorough understanding of the SBUs issues and that they are resolved timely.
- Assist in the preparation of financial analysis and presentation(s) to the Vice President of FP&A, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Corporate Leadership Team and the Board of Director.
- Work closely with Investor Relations, Corporate Accounting and Tax/Treasury to provide relevant and accurate information for Internal Financial Estimates, Earnings Releases and other externally reported Financial Information.
- Ensure quarterly and monthly reports (including actual and forecasts), are completed accurately and timely.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8 or more years of experience in a variety of Accounting or Finance roles (with increasing responsibility
Desired Skills and Abilities
- Strong Presentation, Interpersonal and Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong Analytical Abilities and a thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- High level of understanding of issues for the Total Company and individual SBUs.
- Develops Team Members through coaching and timely feedback on results
- Proactive in identifying issues and resolving conflicts
