About the Position

This position will lead and own key HR processes, programs, and initiatives for assigned client groups, in support of the overall objectives of the Global Technology organization. The incumbent will partner with the relevant HR Centers of Excellence and the business, to drive world class HR strategies around recruiting and selection, training, and development, change management, performance management, diversity & inclusion, workforce planning, talent review and succession planning, while enhancing associate engagement. The position will also lead and direct all day-to-day people related processes and activities, enhancing the associate experience, in support of the organization’s drive to becoming a high-performance organization.   


Primary Responsibilities 

  • Strategic HR Business Partnering to Leaders of Assigned Groups-Ensure HR programs and plans for assigned groups are aligned to the business priorities of the Global Technology organization and monitor effectiveness, acting as strategic partner to leaders of assigned client groups on people and organizational issues. 
  • End to end HR Support to client groups- Manage the end-to-end transactional processes for assigned client groups including collaborating with Talent Acquisition on recruiting and selection activities, facilitating the onboarding process, partnering with Shared Services on managing leaves of absence and benefits information, and the provision of advice and counsel to managers and associates to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures and practices. Additionally, this position has the responsibility to ensure that employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated & resolved.
  • Talent Management and Workforce Planning – Help to drive a comprehensive review of talent management processes in Global Technology to include talent reviews, performance management, workforce planning and succession planning; ensuring that the organization has the right people, in the right jobs, doing the right things.
  • Management development/Supervisory Effectiveness - Provide appropriate coaching to managers and partner with relevant stakeholders to help to develop and improve leadership and manager capability; partner with L&D to design and deliver trainings/programs with a focus on management and supervisory effectiveness  
  • Change Management Champion- Collaborate with HR colleagues in the planning and implementation of key people initiatives and projects across Global Technology with a particular focus on change management initiatives

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources or a related
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience 
  • Masters degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field desired
  • PHR/SPHR certification desired

Desired Skills and Abilities

  • Experience supporting Technical teams or working with Engineering employees highly desired 
  • Experience with leading projects across organizations/regions
  • Demonstrated experience learning and thriving in a constantly changing environment and cultivating relationships across teams 
  • Experience investigating, analyzing and solving complex associate relations issues
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, EEO compliance, labor laws including FMLA, ADA etc
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Strong analytical, organizational, collaborative and teamwork skills
  • Highly developed business acumen along with strong MS Office suite skills
  • Familiarity with immigration laws and the global movement of employees
