The HR Generalist - Sales will work with the Director - PBUs and the Consumer or Commercial leadership teams to provide HR support for key human capital and business imperatives focusing on Talent, Leadership, Organization and Culture. This role will partner with the business leaders and HR Leaders to provide innovative solutions to facilitate business growth. This role will also create and implement talent management strategies around acquisition, development and retention of our associates.           

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide support, education, insight and coaching to the senior level leaders, managers-of-others and the broader organization to build the desired culture and associated behaviors.  Build the Commercial or Consumer employment brand, inside and outside of the company. Provide expertise for policy translation for associates and senior level leaders. Participate in the strategic planning and direction of the business. Provide leadership and guidance on organizational change and process management.
  • Continuously improve organizational effectiveness through prioritization of people development, to include the leaders of the organization.  Drive and sustain individual and team development efforts, provide counsel on individual development plans, cascade learning and development initiatives from centers of expertise.
  • Drive strategic staffing and people moves through proactive workforce planning and iterative succession discussions.  Create talent pools and robust succession plans by position or job family, optimizing associate strengths.  Establish and maintain healthy selection and on-boarding processes.
  • Oversee core HR processes including associate relations, total rewards, workforce planning, succession, etc.  Represent the voice of the client throughout the HR organization and participate in the NA HR projects to develop and execute on those needs.      

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • MBA or Masters preferred
  • At least 5 years’ experience in client-facing HR roles of a multi-national organization with diverse geographical scope
  • Ability to influence, encourage, motivate and guide associates and managers in making decisions, committing to action and
  • improving organizational effectiveness
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and workshops, to include leadership teams
  • Provide objective and balanced guidance to clients (internal) while representing both business and associate needs
  • Compliance, confidentiality and core HR generalist skills (Consulting, Coaching, Talent Management, Career Pathing, etc.)
  • Stakeholder management, interpersonal savvy, creating mutually beneficial relationships
  • Effective communication including verbal, written and presentation to varied audiences  
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and timely outcomes  
  • Ability to balance strategic client needs vs compliance with HR / Legal policies or regulations
