The Human Resource Business Partner - Sales and Marketing acts as a business partner and consultant in the Sales and Marketing organizations.
This position will collaborate with various levels of the organization to provide support for key Human Resource and business initiatives focusing on Talent, Leadership, Organization and Culture. In addition,. this role will have responsibilities around engagement, employee relations, performance management, merit planning, and sales squad staffing and training.
Lastly, the HRBP - Sales and Marketing will also be responsible for the design and implementation of significant projects that will add strategic value to the entire PBU organization.
Primary Responsibilities #LI-JK1
- Act as a collaborative partner on people, social, and organizational issues within the Sales and/or Marketing organizations. Lead key HR projects, such as turnover reduction, onboarding improvement, policy and procedure alignment, and various others depending on changing business needs and objectives.
- Drive people culture for the Sales and/or Marketing organizations through meaningful Talent Management programs. Develop the next generation of senior leaders through strategic talent acquisition, competency building programs, succession planning, coaching, development programs and learning initiatives
- Manage engagement processes within the North America PBU's. Provide analysis on the trends of pulse, exit and other engagement surveys. Help the HR team to identify solutions to retention and engagement issues.
- Manage the Sales and Marketing Development Programs (Sales Squad, Sales and Marketing Internship Programs). Partner with University Relations team on coordination of on-campus recruiting initiatives. Provide thought leadership to the business on the development of Sales Squad training program and evolvement of Sales/Marketing Internship Programs. Tactical/executional support of Sales and Marketing Development Programs.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree
- 4 or more years of experience as an HR Professional, preferably in client facing roles.
- PHR/SHRM Certification, preferred.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office suite

- Experience supporting executive leadership
- Experience dealing with employee relations issues
- Through knowledge of state and federal employment laws, preferred
- Energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards; ability to manage multiple priorities
- A strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgement and strong operational focus
- An articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
