About the Position

The Learning Systems Specialist  / HRIS will support Goodyear and the function of HR through the application of HR business process and technical skills to help in the design and delivery of efficient, compelling and effective business processes and solutions.  This position will report directly to the Global Director, HR Operations, Process Excellence and Associate Insights COE.   The primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to the development and deployment of assistive tools, assisting in HR systems testing and documentation, performing data integrity audits, managing small projects under the purview of more senior team members, development of reports and analytics, and learning aid documentation.  The position will support Workday, SuccessFactors and potentially SAP HR systems.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Developing and deploying assistive solutions and learning aid documentation for users and administrators
  • Assisting in business process and transaction testing strategy development, execution and documentation for the SuccessFactors Learning Module to ensure functionally accurate changes are being moved to production and ensuring evidence of testing is present for Goodyear Audit and SOX purposes. Including execution of role base permission and security domain changes for the Learning Module.
  • Assisting in designing, developing or delivering data as requested by the business and coordinated by the HR Business Process Excellence governance processes.
  • Managing small projects and/or assisting in the management and tracking of projects within the Global HR Operations and Systems portfolio.
  • Assisting with day to day administrative tasks within the SuccessFactors Learning module for Goodyear


Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors’ Degree (IT or related field preferred)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and/or HRIS tools
  • Experience working in an HR environment and familiarity with one or more HR business process areas


Desired Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation and summary functions. Microsoft Access experience is a plus
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Ability to problem solve across multiple systems and complexities
  • Project management skills are a plus
