About the Position
The Customer Service Representative will assist our business to business customers with pricing inquires, product availability, tracking information, freight charges, order entry, and updating daily orders received and shipped.
This role will be located at the Mickey Thompson headquarters in Stow, OH.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage a large volume of incoming calls and distribute calls appropriately.
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
- Assist with inventory and accurately enter customer orders/releases.
- Track shipments for UPS or truck orders.
- Review and update product availability.
- Respond to customer emails.
- Advise customers on general use of product in our catalogs.
- Demonstrate positive interaction with customers and team members.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to customers regarding pricing, shipments, and product availability.
- Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Build and maintain sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication with internal sales representatives, other members of Team MT, and external customers.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- College degree preferred.
- 1-2 years hands-on, dedicated customer service experience.
Desired Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, EDI and ERP systems; SAP experience a plus.
- Math skills are required to calculate discounts and currency conversions.
- The ability to solve practical problems with many variables and interruptions is required. The individual must be able to interpret written, oral, or schedule form instructions.
