About the Position
The Mickey Thompson Marketing Alliance (MTMA) Program Manager leads the go-to-market strategy as it relates to MTMA Dealer Program. This position manages all facets of the program, including communication, administration, relationship building, marketing, and product awareness. In addition, this role is the primary owner of the relationship with 360 Insights, the external vendor that facilitates the program. The incumbent will also track competitor programs and promotions relative to the market.
This role will be located at the Mickey Thompson headquarters in Stow, OH.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversight of MTMA Program
- Oversee dealers and retailers associated with the program
- Create promotions to distribute to customers and members
- Work closely with Mickey Thompson Sales team
- Review the program yearly to insure it remains competitive in the market
- Consistent awareness of the industry and competitor associate dealer programs
Administration of the MTMA Program
- Manage the dealer database
- Primary contact person for 360 Insights to conduct bi-weekly meetings
- Manage payouts that each member receives and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Create requests with Finance team for quarterly payouts
Mickey Thompson Marketing Needs
- Ensure that each Marketing team member has the marketing material needed
- Update marketing material to keep it current and relevant
Member Relationship Building
- Maintain a relationship with all members to help drive engagement, grow sales, and provide market research
- Plan trips to visit member locations to ensure they have appropriate marketing and sales material
- Help solve member issues, follow-up with members after visits, and keep active touch-points
Product Engagement
- Remain knowledgeable of all Mickey Thompson product and be prepared to answer member questions/assist in product issues
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or in lieu of degree 10 or more years of experience in Customer Development. Master’s degree desired.
- 5 or more years of experience in Customer Development
- Experience in sales/marketing associated with program initiatives
- Experience in Marketing - Desired
- Exposure to multiple channels and facets of the organization - Desired

- Experience in selling or a demonstrated ability to have positive inter-relationships with customers
- Analytical skills and the understanding of marketing/business principles
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability

- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
