Position Description:

The Patch Management Administrator is a member of the Global Infrastructure Services Team responsible for supporting servers, networking, and overall operations on a Global level.  This position is specifically responsible for overseeing the patching process for our server and network devises across the global footprint for Goodyear including all data centers environments.  Working to oversee this effort as well as the individuals performing the actual patching, you will maintain documentation, provide status updates, track progress, and provide reporting to ensure all patching is up to date, active with the most recent technology applied for over 6 thousand servers and 4 thousand network devises with 90% virtualized.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall Patching Administration for Goodyear’s global server and network devises by ensure activities are completed on a timely basis with the most up to date technologies. Track and plan all patching updates and overall activities.
  • Plan, document, and ensure implementation via the team for all patching solutions. Evaluate business and functional requirement documents, recommending solutions, project planning, and identifying training needs. Troubleshoot intermediate to advanced problems.
  • Manage small to medium projects within area of specialization and across functional groups.


Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelors’ degree  
  • In lieu of degree 10 or more years of relevant technical experience.
  • 5 + more years of relevant technical experience
