Program Description

 

Have you ever wanted to manage your own schedule?  Do you have a competitive side?  Are you interested in traveling through a territory versus traveling to your office desk?

 

The company’s Consumer Sales Sell Out Organization, with openings all across the US, is looking for personable, detail-oriented seniors who are comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and resolving problems based on data-driven critical thinking to start full time in Summer 2021.  Your main goal?  To enhance Goodyear’s tire sales within retail locations in your territory.  If you think you have what it takes to drive our business forward, we’d love to talk more!

 

Our successful associates demonstrate intentional and insightful strategies with exceptional customer service delivering higher sales results for their territory.  Because our associates do not sit directly with their teams, the organization places a high value on clear communication, active listening and the ability to adapt well to changing priorities.

 

Prior to relocating to your assigned territory, you and your sales squad counterparts will experience 12 weeks of training to provide you with the tools, knowledge and network in order to successfully:

  • Support our established customer’s retail efforts at the store level by helping the person behind the counter sell more tires
  • Execute strategies for priority customers to improve the business performance of Goodyear products based upon specific market requirements and category plans
  • Convey product, program and relevant marketing information and training support to the customer that will enable them to more effectively sell Goodyear products. Coordinate with other regional associates to maximize business opportunities
  • Become the sales / business consultant of choice among customers in assigned territory
  • Achieve sales objective within the designated geographic territory
  • Evaluate and assess competitor products, position and price within stores
  • Assess the compliance and effective execution of Goodyear promotional programs

 

Required Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution expected May / June 2021
  • Minimum 3.0 overall GPA required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated time management, planning and organizational skills
  • Interpret business analytics, market trends and other industry data to improve overall awareness and drive business results
  • Willingness to travel
  • Willingness to relocate
