Position Description
Are you a skilled Pricing Analyst with a passion for providing excellent customer relationship building in support of sales? If so, join our team as a Senior Pricing Analyst and be part of Goodyear’s new "Tires as a Service" (TaaS) end-to-end tire management program. In this role, you will be responsible for executing our TaaS pricing strategy utilizing various tools to support our sales team. Key to success would be engaging in customer relationship management, building reports and providing analysis, contract management, assisting with sales forecasting and overall support to the sales team for pricing strategies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute and administer pricing tools and related tasks, focusing on value-added pricing insights to ensure a consistent pricing structure
- Utilize tools and reporting to monitor and capture customer and Goodyear value creation
- Assist with contract creation and sales forecasting
- Obtain customer data from various sources, including direct customer interactions, sales team inputs, and engagement with sales teams to identify relevant data points
- Input data into the TaaS pricing model with oversight from the Pricing and Sales Operations Manager
- Provide suggestions for pricing recommendations and model improvements
- Offer ongoing data and analytical support to the Sales and Finance teams through CRM dashboard configuration and reporting tools
- Partner with the Commercial Fleet Sales organization and TaaS Operations team to create sustainable business growth
- Guide and execute pricing actions for TaaS under the direction of the Pricing and Sales Operations Manager
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- 5 or more years in a Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, or Pricing role
- Proven experience in pricing strategy and sales support
Desired Skills and Abilities
- Experience operating in a business-to-business (B2B) sales environment
- Proficient at financial analysis and reporting
- Effective customer relationship management and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal/written presentation and communication skills
- Ability to quickly grasp and understand complex business links within business segments
- Detail-oriented with rigorous attention to detail
