About the Position  

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for the entire recruitment process of their assigned business unit or region, from developing job profiles and selection strategy, to choosing the final candidate, assuring quality service, satisfaction of internal customers and ensuring a great candidate experience. Responsibilities include communicating with managers and HR business partners from around the world and keeping them up-to-date on the status of their talent search.


A Senior Recruiter at Goodyear manages the hiring process via an Applicant Tracking System (SuccessFactors), as well as assists Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners in understanding Talent Acquisition policies, processes and metrics. As the Senior Recruiter, you are empowered to design and implement Goodyear talent acquisition strategy in an assigned region by means of programs that stimulate talent acquisition in the labor market, labor marketing initiatives and recruitment through social media.



Primary Responsibilities

  • Discuss requests for staff with Hiring Managers and HR business partners in order to fully understand the requests made and to offer consulting services based on their Talent Acquisition expertise, assuring correct definition of profile, capabilities and experience in accordance with the needs of the organization.           
  • Fulfill the function of relationship management with internal customers. Manage expectations and prepare contingency plans for critical positions, resorting to well-defined SLAs (Service Level Agreement). Constantly gain knowledge about Goodyear business, segment & the characteristics of the professionals wanted by requesting departments.            
  • Manage recruiting accounts in social media, as well as manage selection process follow-up software.                        
  • Conduct interviews with the candidates, carry out competence assessments & technical verifications, when necessary. Carry out selection processes for analyst positions (staff) through senior management positions.     
  • Submit monthly reports with candidate mapping & progress reports to managers & HR business partners throughout the selection process. Prepare behavioral reports of the candidates. Manage are indicators.             


Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in administration, HR, Psychology or related field.  
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in recruiting
  • Experience in communicating with internal customers & preparing reports about the progress of the selection processes.
  • Experience in using recruiting management systems & candidate approach via social media.

  • Fully skilled in interview techniques, competence interview & analysis of human behavior.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate & synthetize ideas both orally & written
  • MS Office, social media, recruiting & Selection software
