Primary Purpose


The Senior Specialist Influencer Relations will support the influencer component of Goodyear's social content and influencer marketing center of excellence, with a focus on establishing/governing content pillars, influencer collaboration guidelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs). This role will help oversee and advise influencer marketing across Goodyear's various regions and brands. Working within the Global Communications team, the incumbent will leverage a deep understanding of influencer marketing strategies and best practices to inform planning, share learnings, and coordinate influencer efforts across Goodyear brands. As a key subject matter expert, the associate will regularly share channel-specific insights, learnings, and best practices with Social Media Managers and Regional Marketing teams to ensure all influencer efforts reinforce brand equity, build cultural relevancy, and drive awareness, engagement, and purchase intent among key consumer audiences.

 

In addition to advising influencer collaborations across the enterprise, the position will manage all influencer strategy and opportunities for the Goodyear Blimp (including strategy, outreach, coordination, and creative ideation). In collaboration with external and internal resources, this role will leverage influencers to increase the relevance of the Goodyear Blimp, highlight unique experiences, and build brand affinity.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

 

  • Act as part of Influencer Relations global Center of Excellence by establishing global standards, processes, best practices, and guidelines. Collaborate with Social Media Managers on influencer guidelines and governance to ensure consistency in strategy and optimal performance across all brands/markets.
  • End-to-end management of Influencer Relations as it relates to Airships (Goodyear Blimp), including influencer strategy, vetting and outreach, coordination with Legal on contract terms, creative brief development, content ideation, and collaboration. Ensure KPIs are met and review, interpreting, and report results.

 

 

Required Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3 + years of experience working in influencer relations, either at a corporation or agency
  • Agency experience - Desired
  • Extensive experience with influencer research, identification, outreach, management, negotiation, and creative content collaboration
  • Experience in social media management and influencer measurement
  • Demonstrated ability to create standards, benchmarks, and processes for global application

 

 

Desired Knowledge and Skills

 

  • Proven experience leading influencer collaborations at all levels (megainfluencer, macroinfluencer, microinfluencer, nanoinfluencer)
  • Ability to ideate and oversee social-first content that drives engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and manage project independently
  • Experience with influencer marketing's best practices, processes, governance, and management
  • Deep knowledge of influencer management tools (CreatorIQ, Captiv8, Aspire, GRIN, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of the social media and influencer landscape, functionality of the platforms and channels, new and emerging influencers, trends, and consumer behaviors
  • Deep knowledge of social media and influencer marketing metrics
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
