Staff Data Scientist.  The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.  Akron, OH.  Develop an understanding of the tire manufacturing and tire business processes as well as Data Science-related topics such as data systems, business analytics and operations. Independently perform Data Science tasks (including data exploration, cleaning, factor generation/selection, data visualization, machine learning and optimization) to support large-scale Data Science initiatives. Work closely with other data scientists and data engineers to scale-up digital solutions across diverse applications. Share and present your ideas and successes with business stakeholders and technical professionals throughout the company. Have an impact by helping us drive “best data practices” within the global organization.

Need MS (or foreign equiv.) degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computing and Information Systems, or a related field of study teaching the body of highly specialized knowledge of quantitative analysis of data and 1 year of experience as a Data Scientist, Software Developer, Data Intern or related role.  Also need 1 yr. applying data analytics, business analytics, and operations research.
