Primary Purpose
This position will be a member of the Global Workplace Technology Services team, which is responsible for professional and technical work related to the operation and
support of the Workplace Technology Services and related components. The incumbent will work in partnership with the Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure Service
Organization. This is a service support role primarily responsible for the daily operational tasks and duties, which support Workplace Technology Service implementations.
Workplace Technology Services could include but are not limited to, desktops, laptops, mobile/smart devices, print, conference room technology and end point telephony,
etc.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional white-glove support for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and their executive assistants. Work with executives and executive assistants (EAs) to provide IT solutions and fix services as needed, including support for various SLT events such as board meetings. Manage SLT software and security requirements on company owned and personal devices.
- ervice Transition Processes: Knowledge Management, Change Management, Asset and Configuration Management, Release and Deployment, Transition Planning and Support, and Service Validation and Testing/Evaluation Service Operations Processes: Incident Management, Problem Management, Event Management, Request Fulfillment, Access Management, and Operations Management Assist in supporting existing services by leveraging documented procedures. Work with and/or across global/regional/local IT teams by consulting with more senior level team members. Provides beginner and intermediate consultation for responsible services.
- Assist in technical support of internal and/or third party systems to implement changes using documented procedures and tests. Work with internal customers to understand and respond to needs, and educate associates on company resources to explain how they can add value. Troubleshoot basic problems reported by internal customers, systems, or team members and escalate to upper-level associates as appropriate.
- Monitor, debug, install, configure, and/or modify third party software, systems and databases. Perform repetitive and well-documented service requests, installs, upgrades, refreshes, backups, restores, patching, access grants, cloning configurations, and key performance indicator (KPI) data collection using established processes. Document and map workflow and processes using current technologies. Participate as team member on small to medium projects, with the ability to lead small project
Required Education and Background
- Bachelors Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or in lieu of degree 6 years of IT experience
- One or more years of relevant technical or business work experience
