HR Business Partner - Italy

Primary Purpose:

This position will be responsible to drive HR processes, programs and initiatives for assigned client groups and for partnering with the business and HR Centers of Excellence around recruiting and selection, training, organizational development and change management, performance management, talent review and succession planning, while maintaining positive associate relations & strong engagement.

The position will also take care of the day to day HR duties and responsibilities, processes & programs, enhancing the associate experience and in support of the organization’s drive to becoming a high-performance organization.           

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the local HR Manager as a Business Partner by handling various HR related activities, translate business needs and plans into appropriate HR strategies and solutions by leveraging best practices and internal/external benchmarking standards.
  • Manage key HR processes such as talent reviews, performance management, succession planning, while partnering with the business to optimize talent strategies/staffing levels and employee engagement.
  • Lead the recruiting and selection activities, by advertising roles internally and externally, screening resumes and conducting interviews.
  • Facilitate and organize the onboarding process, in collaboration with appropriate team members, direct and/or matrix manager, making sure that everything is ready for the 1st day.
  • Responsible for facilitating/analyzing training needs in conjunction with the business and HR Centers of Excellence, developing training curriculum, and delivering training courses for associates, new hires, etc., including onboarding and Health and Safety training (in collaboration with the H&S Responsible). Coordinate and leverage any training funds opportunity.
  • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures and practices. Ensure that employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated resolved.   
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues in the planning and implementation of key people initiatives and projects across the organization and drive change management efforts as appropriate.                            

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR / Business or related field.
  • 5 years HR experience.
  • Individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying established standards.
  • Previous experience within a large, matrix & pan-European company.
  • Previous experience in collaborating / working with associates & leaders at various levels.
  • Previous experience in managing project and process improvement activities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, collaborative and teamwork skills.
  • Multitasking.
  • Highly developed business acumen along with strong MS Office suite skills.
  • Pragmatic / "Get-Things-Done" attitude.
  • Dynamic / Self-Driven / Able to work independently.
  • Fluent in English and Italian, both verbal and written.
