Assistant Manager - Vehicle Dynamics & Objective Test Driver

Job responsiblities:

 

Within the product evaluation department you will have to :

•Do tire performance evaluation – Subjective / Objective (instrumented)
•Coordinate and run tire performance tests (such as handling, noise, and ride comfort tests) on passenger and/or light/medium truck vehicles
•Communicate the observations about tire performances to Goodyear's tire development engineers, project managers, and development engineers
•Provide test reports in time to meet product development timelines
•Coordinate and participate in product demonstrations to tire dealers and the media
•Coordinate and Participate to offsite testing session (Wintertest …)

 

Job Requirement:

  

Education:

The candidate must have at least successfully completed a Bachelor Engineering Degree in Mechanics or in Automotive with experience or have Master Degree in Mechanics or in Automotive


Languages:

English is a must. German and/or French is an asset


Experience:

Exemplary car control not impacting the tire handling and stability performance judgement

Team work accomplishments is an asset


Skills & Qualifications:

•Ability to use test instruments and knowledge of data acquisition
•Knowledge of MS Office
•Basic understanding of automobile/tire function and vehicle dynamics
•Ability to prioritize, manage time and resources effectively
•Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time
•Display a high degree of credibility, integrity, and enthusiasm
•Flexible, organized and available
•Team player and good communication skills
•Leadership skills
•Passion for automotive is a must
