Primary Purpose of the Position:

To take care of Focus Improvement activities in respective Business Centre.

To train, guide, coach & drive FI pillar in respective Business Centre.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities

1.Responsible for collection and verification of data from different stakeholders
2.Quarterly zero loss analysis & stratification to identify loss opportunities
3.Identifying the projects from zero loss analysis
4.Alignment of stakeholders and resources to drive projects with Advanced FI, DMAIC, D-lite, JDI methodologies

5.Development of governance mechanism & layered process audit system for project progress and sustenance
6.Escalation of hurdles in project progress to leadership and get support
7.Capability development of shop floor team by conducting trainings and workshops to implement DMAIC, OEE, Lean, basic problem solving Tools at shop floor

8.Conducting audits for ensuring compliance of completed activities and timely project completion
9.Goodyear Global losses awareness in the plant to build zero loss mindset of the team
10.Building capability of shop floor team to calculate the benefits of the improvements on machines

11.Financial validation (baselines and actual) of the improvements on shop floor through FI projects by FBP
12.Communication on the shop floor - one to one, display, group training, workshops
13.Kaizen coordinator in the business center 
14.Responsible for Layered Process Audit.
15.Ensuring the day to day jobs & linkage to the environment & impact on environment.

15. Daily OEE analysis of machines to identify the machine loss opportunities and way forward for team
16. Communicating major improvement activities (best practices) to region
17. Gathering information of best practices from other plants in the region and share to business center teams

18.Monthly 100% compliance in power steering project progress updation
19.Weekly FI reports (FI project tracker, FI pillar progress) to the plant & region, reviews to the PLT
20.Monthly reports submission to the region (OEE 4 block, AOP savings, VMI performance, FI pillar progress)
21. Support by providing inputs in business centers for DMS implementation
22. Support other PO pillars for implementation and strengthening the systems



Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical


Experience Required:

4-6 Years
