Position Overview: The Plant Head HR will be responsible for leading and managing all human resources functions at our manufacturing plant in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. This role will partner closely with plant leadership to drive HR initiatives that align with Goodyear’s strategic objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and enhance employee engagement and productivity

Employee Development: Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills, performance, and career growth

Performance Management: Drive performance management initiatives, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms to cultivate a high-performance culture

Talent Management :- Lead the Talent Review and Succession Planning process for critical roles identified for the plant

Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives; ensure a harmonious workplace environment

Industrial Relations:- Lead the collective bargaining process for the unionized workforce to harness productivity and ensuring amicable IR environment

Compliance and Policy Management: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies; update HR policies and practices as needed

Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a workplace that reflects the communities we serve

HR Metrics and Reporting: Utilize HR analytics to monitor key metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve HR practices

Corporate Social Responsibility : Partner with stakeholders to execute relevant CSR initiatives as per the GY corporate guidelines
Qualifications:

15+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in India

Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and drive change initiatives
