Reporting to Manager- Technical Services,this position is responsible for supporting manufacturing process and product quality by applying appropriate Goodyear standards and procedures to solve problems. The incumbent understands and can apply standard tools to improve customer satisfaction and process capability.
    Utilize and apply understanding of suppliers and Customer requirements (internal and external) relevant to specific manufacturing processes.
    Control and analysis for Plant uniformity improvement in OE sizes as per the Projected Yield .
    Understanding of other areas in industry affecting tire uniformity and waste .
    Understanding of Tire building machine ( VMI / Mesnac /other automatic machine) functioning and handling for uniformity improvement and waste reduction in tire room
    Understanding of Final finish area and uniformity and balancing machine working and performance
    Coach, teach and direct the application of technical solutions to meet product and process requirements. Viewed as a technical content expert.
    Lead and coordinate product and process improvements within relevant quality guidelines and standards using appropriate quality engineering tools. 
    Plant Optimization (PO) and use PO methods to drive process improvements.
    Recognize and identify problems and achieve solutions with appropriate tools and methods that deliver defined objectives which meet business needs.

Uniformity Performance Management and Control:-

    Manage Plant Organization on the key variables to be controlled to deliver consistent waste performance 
    Direct plan & execute experiments in improving the basic knowledge on tire uniformity and defects
    Execute the action plan for New SKUs & released SKUs based on DMAIC Approach
    Drive to define Key machine parameters that need to be controlled and maintained to deliver stable performance
    Drive the plant capabilities improvement projects to improve on Waste-Green and Cured
    Drive the 3P approach for Aurangabad Plant
