NPI & Equipment Engineer

Job Responsibilities
 

• Perform all aspects of new product industrialization activities for plant according to procedures. Make detailed feasibility and impact studies for new projects, share findings with related teams to be an input for PFMEA and MRM studies
• Implement material specification changes and ensure all the specifications are up to date and ready for each required process
• Manufacturing support by analyzing issues and solving problems for plant waste reduction activities
• Develop process and innovation solutions to improve robustness of tire
• Reduce complexity of components and tires by standardization approach in accordance with Goodyear requirements
• Lead material cost saving projects and make all necessary preparations for monthly reports
• Take necessary actions for possible items seen on cut tire analysis and any issue faced on tires during production monitoring tests
• Develop and maintain equipment safety, quality, orders, and inventory checks
• Make necessary communications with both local contractors and regional teams for all equipment activities
• Involvement Plant Optimization process, project coordination for the implementation of the Focused Improvement correctives actions using "DMAIC" methodology

 
Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or relevant engineering fields
• Experience in tire industry background is an asset
• Good knowledge in MS Office is an asset
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• Collaborative and team-oriented temperament
• Completed military service for male applicants
