At Goodyear Iberia we want to expand our team, specifically we are looking for a person who wants to grow with us, adding value within the Sales department as Sales Manager based in Madrid or Barcelona.


Main Tasks:

  • Establish business strategy by channel or area, select, manage, and motivate the sales team to track the results, trade agreements and KPI's.
  • Lead the team according to volume and profitability objectives.
  • Position, establish, implement and coordinate the strategy taking into account the regional guidelines.



  • Develop the channel marketing strategy in collaboration with Pricing, Supply and Operations.
  • Make an annual commercial plan accourding to company guidelines determined by gross margin, CTS, financing, supply and forecast.
  • Take information from the market,  implement conditions according to the strategy and needs of customers, to ensure the compliance and commercial objectives.
  • Management of the budget, develop with Marketing department actions that maximize the investment.


Sales Management

  • Understanding the needs of our customers to support the sales team in terms of achieving profitability, identify needs of the area, channels and customers.
  • Establish monitoring parameters that ensure price policy and payment conditions to optimize the results.
  • Specific monitoring of large accounts to ensure retention.
  • Supporting, developing and motivating capturing incremental volume to current business.
  • Product training, sales dinamization and counseling, according to the trade policy of the company to ensure compliance with established sales targets.
  • Develop estimated annual sales according to the potential and the reality of the area.



  • Select, train, manage and motivate the sales team.
  • Develop the team in the position and prepare them for future potential.
  • Develop field audits: establish effective working methods, conduct sales training, hold monthly meetings to monitor results, according to the policies to have a trained and motivated team of professionals.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Background studies in Business, Marketin or Engineering.
  • More than 5 years’ experience as a Sales Manager.
  • Experience working in an international environment with regional and global teams.
  • Spanish and English languages fluent in written and spoken.
  • High level of excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Communication, presentation, and training skills.
  • Ability to understand business needs. Customer oriented.
  • Ability to extract conclusions from different data sources.
  • Ability to think fast and react in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Ability to self-mange workload and handle multiple tasks.
  • Cross-functional leadership.
  • Act with integrity, confidence, and accountability at all times.
