About the Position:
•    The Maintenance and Reliability Manager will serve as a member of the Beaumont Chemical Leadership Team - Playing a key role in defining and implementing the maintenance strategy for the Beaumont site and for other facilities in the Chemical division. 
•    This position will provide reliability subject matter expertise to all four Goodyear Chemical facilities - Ensuring business continuity as the sole supplier of raw materials to Goodyear tire plants (in addition to external customers).
•    The incumbent will provide site leadership and oversee approximately 75+ Maintenance department associates and 100+ nested contractor population at the facility. He/She will play a strategic role in building core competencies/capabilities within the Maintenance organization. 
•    This role will develop/implement a sustainable process for managing the maintenance spend and strategies for cost control/metrics.
•    In addition, this associate will increase MTBF (meantime between failure) for operation of critical equipment.

•    Set the strategic direction for the Beaumont Maintenance department. Develop/Implement a maintenance strategy to streamline maintenance planning processes, improve unit reliability and enhance the effectiveness and execution of unit turnarounds/outages. 
•    Develop, implement and sustain a robust reliability program and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure performance. Ensure business continuity as sole supplier of raw materials to Goodyear tire plants (including external customers).  
•    Manage, implement and continuously improve the mechanical integrity program. Set the strategic direction for establishing and executing the site/building infrastructure programs. Serve as the single point-of-accountability for all facility buildings (including maintenance shops, production and administration).    
•    Manage/Oversee maintenance spend (within the annual planning process) requirements and goals. Implement cost saving strategies that eliminate waste and improve unit reliability.
•    Develop, implement and maintain the turnaround outage strategy/process. Provide functional turnaround execution expertise in preparation, execution and startup. Develop/Implement outage execution KPIs.    

Education and Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

•    7 or more years of experience in Industrial Manufacturing.
•    7 or more years of experience in Engineering/Maintenance/Construction Management in an industrial environment.
•    Experience managing capital projects (all phases) and commissioning of equipment .
•    Experience and knowledge of mechanical integrity concepts and regulatory requirements for tank and vessel inspections.
•    Experience with continuous improvement principles and establishing KPIs

Skills and Abilities:
•    Knowledge of preventive, predictive and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) concepts.
•    Knowledge and experience of turnaround execution processes.
•    Demonstrated ability to direct cross-functional work groups to achieve maintenance/reliability objectives and timelines.
•    Ability to understand cost estimating, cost structure and manufacturing equipment processes.
•    Demonstrated leadership, strategy development/implementation and team-building skills.
