Manager Trade Marketing (location: UK or Belgium)

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager Trade Marketing to join our team and lead the trade marketing activities in the Northern Europe region. Key Responsibilities:
- Manages Hub trade marketing team.
- Hiring/evaluation/guidance/coaching of area trade marketing specialists team.
- Builds and manages Hub Trade marketing budget.
- Allocation management in alignment with Hub Sales leader and based on Hub brand, market and customer audit conclusions.
- Trade offs decisions based on short term mitigation needs in alignment with Hub Sales leader.
- Defines and leads Hub trade marketing plans execution.
- Consolidates Hub Customers requirements in terms of sell out, sell in promotions and customer engagement needs.
- Ensures synergies creation and best practices sharing within hub.
- Inputs Cross Hubs TM leader on according assets needs prior to AOP definition.
- Tracks proper trade marketing plans implementation within hub sales areas and ensures post mortem learnings.
- Ensures proper localization and deployment of sales activation calendar conjointly with sales enablement team.
- Supports Hub Brand BtoC activation plans execution.
- Coordinates brand content translations checks with hub TM team.
- Provides Hub insights to central team in case of specific local needs.
Main Interactions:
- Works on a daily basis with Hub Sales Leader on trade marketing plans implementation, performance tracking and trade off decisions.
- Works with Central Trade marketing team (Customer engagement leader, customer sales activation manager, customer performance manager, sales content specialist) to input on specific Hub needs when relevant.
- Works with Central Brand leaders to support on brand content and activation localization.
- Works with Brand performance managers to input on Hub Brand and market audit learnings and Hub targets definition proposal.
- Works with sales enablement team on sales activation calendar localization and proper implementation across Hub sales areas.
- Works with Hub revenue management team on consolidated performance view, including hub mitigation and related activities and budget needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in trade marketing, brand management, or a similar role within the FMCG or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of the Northern European markets and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French, or Nordic languages) are a plus.
- Ability to travel within the region as required.
