System Specialist - Dynamics Nav

This position reports to the Retail Systems Manager and is responsible for supporting the management of the technical and operational support functions within the Retail Department. Delivering initiatives to enhance the franchise and retail systems value proposition, increasing franchise stores and Dynamics Nav installations.




•    Maintenance & Support of the Microsoft Dynamics Nav and potentially Business Central systems.
•    Assist in the deploying of Microsoft Dynamics Nav instances. Including setup, data migration and mapping and user setup.
•    Provides 2nd and 3rd line support for Microsoft Dynamics Nav in partnership with external 1st/2nd line support provider.
•    Contribute to the delivery and design of Microsoft Dynamics Nav training programme for new and existing users.
•    Manages regular communications in relation to system updates and franchise news, in both digital and printed form.
•    Produces management reports and data as required to ensure the financial health of HiQ Franchisees and the Retail Department.




•    Demonstrated experience providing level 2 or 3 support for Microsoft Navision 2017 (extensive experience with finance modules).
•    Supporting Nav deployments, data migration.
•    System testing experience in an agile environment.
•    Experience of working with large amounts of complex data and manipulating complex datasets.
•    Good finance knowledge particularly applied in a Dynamics Nav environment.
•    Articulate with excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
•    Highly PC Literate with excellent Excel and Access knowledge.
•    Attention to detail with strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
•    A self-starter with a sense of urgency and a drive to deliver results.
•    Highly organized and capability to multi-task.
•    Able to use initiative and take ownership/responsibility.
•    Professional and business-like presentation and an aptitude for negotiation.
•    Reliable with a strong sense of integrity.
•    Able to travel around UK and work unsociable hours on occasions.
•    Degree level education in a business/finance/IT discipline
•    A full and valid driving license.
