Primary Purposes of the Position:

 

Responsible for analyzing financial results, providing accurate financial estimates and delivering insight to improve business performance

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Key finance support for the local business team, responsible for leading the consolidation of financial estimates, providing financial analysis to the Country Finance Director, coordinating the preparation of the annual operating plans (AOP) and monthly estimates across the local business functions, and driving timely and accurate reporting and analysis of actual performance versus plan
  • Analyzes actual financial results against the annual operating plan (AOP), monthly estimates and prior year to summarize and clearly communicate the financial and operating results (which include Volume/Price/Mix analysis, sales operations, manufacturing cost, other COGS, and SAG expenses) of the business unit in order to measure progress against country business objectives
  • Supports other functional areas by providing financial studies and analysis related to pricing, cost, profitability and capital expenditure to enable the best business decisions
  • Monitors and analyzes profitability by business segment, channel, customer and product with a deep understanding of price/mix and cost impacts
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives related to finance processes and systems
  • Supports the development of finance talent for the country finance organization, including recruiting, career planning, and the utilization of a strong performance management process that aligns individual objectives with business metrics and connects performance against those objectives

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field i.e. Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc. MBA or other advanced degree would be an advantage
  • Ideally, 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in accounting analysis and financial planning at a global manufacturing company
  • Strong financial analysis background with the ability to prepare complex financial models
  • Solid knowledge of accounting (Local US GAAP and IFRS) and proven understanding of Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow)
  • Has technical experience in financial IT Systems from detailed to consolidation perspective including the use of Excel and familiarity with SAP
  • Possess leadership skills, consulting skills, change management ability and interpersonal skills.
  • Has strong analytical thinking, organizational awareness, high initiative, good communicator and presentation skills
