The Opportunity
As a member of our regional EMEA IT team, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and operations of applications on our AWS could platform “Goodyear as a Service” (GaaS). Throughout all project phases you will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to transform our customers’ requirements into innovative and effective IT solutions. This role requires a combination of strong technical skills, creativity, customer orientation, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with Business Process Experts and users (fleet customers, service providers, tire dealers) to develop a deep understanding of their requirements and challenges. Select and apply the right IT technology to develop new innovative applications to support our business goals

Analyze business requirements and implement end-to-end solutions throughout the full development process, including:

Feasibility studies

Solution design and workload estimates
-
Configuration, implementation, IT-testing, and deployment of the solution

Documentation of all steps

Operational support and continuous improvement

Support and maintain existing applications and drive optimization of business processes

Apply best practices and innovative technology to ensure high quality, re-usability, scalability and reliability of our application portfolio

Scrum Master for the Commercial “Goodyear as a Service” (GaaS) team
Qualifications
-
University degree in business informatics or computer science combined, or equivalent degree.

Ability to master complex business processes end-to-end in an IT landscape across various systems
-
Experience in IT in one or more of the following areas: application development, application support, business process design

Knowledge of - or willingness to learn - configuration of our main development platforms, e.g. AWS services, cloud infrastructure, SAP customizing, mobile app frameworks

At least basic level of experience in programming

Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills

Self-sufficient working style with a proactive and independent approach

Good communication and English skills, both written and spoken

Team player

Understanding of the agile project methodology and knowledge of Jira / Confluence or similar tools

Scrum Master Certificate preferred

Willingness to travel on occasions
