1. Prepare timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP, local regulation and legislation in a standard and simplified manner (including the annual financial statements are prepared, signed and lodged).
2. Manage account reconciliation process (Preparation & Review) to ensure strong supporting evidence is maintained for all Balance Sheet account balances
3. Manage the working relationship and audit process with the external auditors
4. Ensure compliance with local tax legislation, authorities (VAT & Corporate Tax) and internal GY Transfer Pricing policies.
5. Support compliance with the internal controls framework designed and approved by the Internal Controls Team (RACM procedures) and maintenance of the of the Sarbanes-Oxley process documentation
6. Liaise cross-functionally within Finance and ensure Internal Control activities are maintained and adhered to where applicable. Act as local point of contact for technical accounting queries/policies.
To Join Our Team You Will Need
1. 5-7 years of experience relevant to finance and accounting with continuously increased responsibility.
2. Strong knowledge in accounting principles for both local and US GAAP/IFRS
3. Deep understanding of accounting procedures, business processes and operations
4. Strong communication and presentation skills
5. Business Administration Degree or equivalent (MBA, CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent - nice to have)
