The Opportunity

The Global SAP Security Analyst is reporting to the Global SAP Security Team Leader and has the  responsibility to analyze, implement and support SAP Security solutions for cross-functional processes by following the global security guidelines and policies. The incumbent will work in partnership with Global & cross functional business/IT teams. The role provides an entry point to the Global SAP Security team and allows the applicant to learn, not only about SAP Security but how it is applied to Goodyear. For applicants with SAP Security experience, they will gain experience of a wide variety of SAP Security concepts, not only traditional ABAP. They will also get exposure to Global projects allowing them to develop core competencies and their career.


Main Duties And Responsibilities

•Support the function of SAP Security by provision user creation and maintenance. Also to, when required offer SAP security role support to both the business and the SAP support teams ensuring application security integrity is at the highest level.
•Work on small/medium scale projects and contribute to support security concepts, and their implementation.
•Analyze business needs and translate into technical specifications and implement them by considering the global toolset, policies and guidelines.
•Provide support to business for troubleshooting, investigating queries, analyzing and solving issues
•Conduct periodic evaluation tests to ensure access provided is compliant as part of overall  business process control environment
•Troubleshoot, investigate and persist. Provide cross-functional support and maintenance for business/technical areas.
•Provide knowledge transfer on current technologies to relevant stakeholders
•Support cost/benefit analysis through evaluation of alternative design approaches to determine bestbalanced solution. Best-balanced solution is one that satisfies the immediate stakeholder needs, meets system requirements and facilitates subsequent change.
•Assume leadership role in a small size initiative by playing the key contributor or facilitator.


To Join Our Team You Will Need

•Implementations of new SAP applications/processes or ideally experience in implementing SAP Security in small type of projects
•Analytical and Problem solving experiences
•Work experience of 3 years in Business Process implementation or SAP GRC Access controls
•Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or related discipline
•Ability to understand the business needs and deliver prompt, efficient, quality service to the business; works to anticipate, identify and meet end-user needs; drives outward results and ensures high-quality standards are met
•Can convey complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in a manner that is easily understood, authoritative, and actionable for the business; actively listens to peers' input
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills; acts decisively and swiftly, identifies problems and drives towards solutions, takes on responsible roles and accountability for outcomes and is comfortable making difficult decisions
•Ability to apply different strategies to convince others to change their opinion or plan, and wins support from others for ideas; is able to build support with peers without direct lines or  reporting across a matrix organization
•Creates relationships with new acquaintances quickly and confidently; works to build trust and partner with stakeholders; successfully manages both internal and external relationships
•Good understanding of the SAP portfolio and hands on experience in SAP Security role  configuration
•Solid solution design capabilities
•Ability to explore and implement security concepts
•Self-motivated team players able to work in a dynamic and virtual environment
•Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
•Flexible, able to work extended hours and travel as required.
•Demonstrates cultural awareness, ethical and moral behavior; unquestionable integrity and character.
•Very good command of spoken and written English.
