HRIS Customer Solution Lead

The Opportunity

The HRIS Customer Solution Lead will support a customer base consisting of the entire population of a specific strategic business unit such as the Americas, Europe-Middle East-Africa, Asia-Pacific, Corporate or Global Technology.  This position will report directly to the HRIS Global Customer Solution Manager. Individuals in this position will also serve as backup to other strategic business units.
This positions’ primary focus is to align closely with the client-facing HR organizations to ensure changes needed in our HR Systems, Processes or Data are accurately defined as requirements for change and then work with the HRIS organization to help ensure success of these changes through to documented completion.  The position assignments will be divided into customer engagement and demand management.  The primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to the creation of business requirement documentation, change request development, solution creation, testing validation with cross functional collaboration throughout.  The position will serve to be a subject matter expert regarding HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP HR Connect, SuccessFactors, Data Analytics, Time and Attendance and any future deployed HRIS system in order to better support change.
The position will consistently aid in developing a long-term globally aligned and standardized process, system and data architecture where possible. 


Main Duties And Responsibilities

 

  • Business requirement documentation ownership / creation
  • Request requirements gathering
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and test script design
  • Test resource coordination
  • Validation of testing results
  • Serve as the voice of the customer  
  • Actively seek out solutions to known or unknown requirements
  • Alignment of the user/customer base with change management based on the delivered solutioning 
  • Deliver functional subject matter expertise with consultation
  • Cross functional team collaboration (i.e. compensation, payroll, IT)
  • Primary source of communicating to the customer as it relates to notifications and announcements from HRIS
  • Support users to request proper access, approvals and access validation
  • Alignment of the user/customer base with change management based on the delivered solutioning 
  • Post implementation knowledge transfers, training and job aid documents for customers, HRIS and leaders
  • Primary point of contact for monitoring and distribution of customer requests  
  • Change management
  • Help to lead governance for global HR and IT Initiatives
  • Assistance and validation with mass load tools and templates as needed   
  • Maintain and enhance global job aids and playbooks


 

To Join Our Team You Will Need
 

  • Three or more years of general HR experience
  • Two or more years of experience with SAP HR Connect, Workday or core Human Capital Management system
  • General understanding of standard IT processes and procedures.
  • Understanding of interfaces/integrations and how to create functional specifications from a customer to technical vendor
  • Must have English and the local language skills necessary to effectively communicate with the customer base supported and the ability to translate requirements into English for execution
  • Must be able to think through problems across multiple systems and mappings
  • Project Management change management and or Six Sigma experience is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation (VLOOKUP, if statements), summary functions (pivot tables), etc.
