Overview of role:
Head of HR Services and Operations - EMEA provides operational oversight to all HRSS centers within region and leads key initiatives to ensure the HR Shared Services (HRSS) function delivers best-in-class service. The incumbent will be responsible for partnering with key stakeholders to ensure HRSS objectives and initiatives are aligned to both the regional HR/BU strategy and the global HR Services strategy.
The regional leader will identify continous improvement opportunities for operational efficiency, enhanced associate experience, and service delivery expansion in line with the global maturity roadmap. Additionally, the Regional HRSS Leader will manage a team of HRSS associates, providing mentorship and talent development opportunities to drive increased engagement and strengthen team performance.
Additionally, Head of HR Services and Operations - EMEA will play a critical role in executing the HR and Business Transformation strategy for the region. The incumbent will be responsible for building a team and transitioning HR tasks into a consolidated center to streamline and enhance HR service delivery.
Main duties and responsibilities:

Collaborates with global team to set the strategic direction for the HRSS function, partners with regional HR leadership to identify and prioritize key initiatives needed to accomplish business objectives and ensures regional HRSS teams execute the strategy. Serves as the single point of accountability for decision-making and escalations, continuously collaborating with HR and COE leadership stakeholders to ensure service levels are meeting expectations, operations are optimized to generate efficiency/value, and appropriate team capacity/capability is available to accomplish objectives.

Helps evaluate the current portfolio of HRSS activities across region to identify opportunities for consolidation of resources and processes in order to gain efficiencies and improve service levels. Oversee centralization projects (from the receiving side) ensuring processes are mapped, standard operating procedures (SOPs) are documented, and service-level agreements (SLAs)/key performance indicators (KPIs) are aligned.

Accountable for on-time and quality delivery of HR Shared Services based on established SLAs and KPIs. Track team performance, services levels, and customer satisfaction. Conduct root cause analysis of performance failures and oversee correction plan deployment. Ensure processes comply with local regulation and Goodyear policies.

Drive on-going continuous improvement of transitioned processes to continue to standardize and optimize processes across EMEA HRSS centers. Work with Regional/Global HR Shared Services Leadership Teams to share best practices, identify opportunities for global standardization and to provide support. Also, uses continuous improvement methodology to identify purely transitional activities that could be moved from regional HR Shared Services to free capacity in region on an ongoing basis.

Energize the team, provides leadership, career direction and development of associates in EMEA HR Shared Services by driving engagement and on-going development for individuals. Evaluate knowledge and skill gaps and execute plans to address. Oversee full Talent Lifecycle activities from Hiring, Performance Management, Career Development and Off-Boarding for Team.

To join our Team you will need:

University degree preferably Human Resource Management
-
10+ years of progressive experience as an HR Business Partner or COE manager and/or Shared Services manager in HR or other function (desired - 5 years in HRSS)

Proven results generating efficiencies, optimizing processes, and influencing change in a complex, cross-cultural environment

Project management experience - proven success implementing large, highly complex projects (regional or global desired)

Proven success energizing and leading teams - experience building a new team desired
