Job Purpose:

Marketing & Communications category team is seeking an Associate Category Lead to support the related commodities which primarily consist of Content Creation & Production, Digital, Media Buying, Market Research, Promotions and PR & Events in EMEA region. The role will report to the Category Lead and will be based in Bucharest.

Main Responsibilities:

• Building senior stakeholder relationships and managing their requirements and expectations throughout the Procurement process.
• Responsible for leading the RFx process for related projects across the EMEA region within the Marketing & Communications category
• Negotiation of new or existing contracts including commercial terms and conditions, supplier performance management and contract management
• Approve and document Shopping Carts
• Perform detailed spend analysis and reports to identify savings opportunities

To Join Our Team You Will Need:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Business, Economics or Finance

Experience

Required:

• 2-4 years of experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation
• Proven track record of achieving cost saving targets in the Marketing & Communications or other indirect spend categories
• Strong communication, effective negotiation and relationship management skills at all levels including senior management with the ability to present to an audience in a logical and persuasive manner
• Good presentation skills and strong data analysis
• Highly proactive and organized
• Project management and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to Travel up to 25%
• Work from home up to 50%

Desirable:

• Experience with Marketing category would be considered a plus
• SAP SRM knowledge
• Ability to adapt contract terms and make amendments with limited Legal support
