Primary Purpose of the Role

  • Reporting directly to the CI&RPA&PMO Manager, this position will be responsible with organizing and prioritizing the activity of Bucharest RPA team, coordinating their effort with the Global RPA and IT team to make sure methodology and best practices are implemented.
    Also identify, coordinate and implement improvement initiatives mainly focused on automation, but not limited to RPA, for EMEA processes (centralized in GBS or outside of GBS). In doing so, they will be expected to consult and coordinate a broad range of stakeholders, including internal GBS management, global/regional IT, local country leadership,3rd party providers and other global/regional process owners. Provide training and coaching/mentoring session to automation/RPA enthusiasts.
  • Organize and allocate needed resources to deliver workshops, RPA awareness session, advise in the preparation of all needed assessments and documentation for business to submit ideas in the RPA pipeline tool. Act as a consultant in the RPA areas for business teams.
  • Support the RPA team during their work by removing roadblock in the RPA idea life cycle: intake process, development, testing, hypercare to production.
  • For above activities, this position will assist the CI&RPA &RPA Manager in ensuring that change initiatives, standardization or/and automation, are correctly review, approved, developed, tested and communicated.


Main Duties and Responsibilities


  • Organize with the RPA Bucharest team to deliver automation projects as per center management prioritization.
  • Create awareness on RPA by organizing and delivering presentation to different stakeholder in the organization, build trust in automation and increase GBS reputation as a Business Partner that adds value to the overall company
  • Assist in developing automation strategies and roadmaps while also providing guidance around RPA overall program governance
  • Build the right relationships across all levels of the organization to ensure roadblocks to automation/RPA adoption are addressed.
  • Actively promote the benefits of standardization, automation and innovation initiatives with stakeholders
  • Build and deliver presentations/demos to business stakeholders and ensure all queries and concerns are addressed.
  • Ensure that RPA "best practices" are shared and utilized by the RPA Bucharest team.
  • Grow and coordinate the informal network of automation/RPA enthusiasts in order to disseminate the automation mindset and enable ideas identification, implementation and replication.
  • Responsible with building RPA Business case in order to be presented and obtain approval from RPA Approval Board for 3rd party developments.
  • Create pipeline and prioritize development keeping in mind costs, business needs, compliance, ROI,  etc.
  • Work directly with the internal/external developers to ensure delivery and implementation of automaton solutions as per agreed planning
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that will reduce risks and where all RPA solutions developed are compliant with Goodyear policy.
  • Contribute to the center CI target by developing and implementing automation solutions.
  • Build an control environments by ensuring all RPA projects follow the strict review process with Internal Control and GDPR.
  • Actively seek new solutions/technologies that can bring added value to the company and present "Proof of Concepts" to management for review and approval.
  • Create different initiatives for upskilling associates to build the resources needed for the delivery of RPA projects and a strong succession pipeline for the RPA Leads and Specialists

To Join Our Team You Will Need

  • Minimum 7 years experience of working in a relevant workstream environment out of which 3  in leading teams that develop and implement RPA solutions
  • Experience of identifying and implementing process and/or technology changes within a relevant workstream environment to improve efficiency or quality
  • Experience managing multiple high-profile workstreams in parallel
  • Proven experience building strong internal and external relationships
  • Experience in delivering different types of projects from Transition of processes to Standardization, from Continuous Improvement to Automations
  • Strong project and change management skills, familiarity with project management approaches and tools required
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of internal/external stakeholders and ability to influence others towards a common goal required
  • Active listening skills and ability to manage upwards and negotiate between conflicting stakeholders
  • Self-starter, motivated, change agent, Ability to collaborate in a global matrix managed organization
  • Ability to operate in a fluid and dynamic environment with global teams
  • Ability to view complex/conflicting data, identify problems and propose solutions/alternatives.
  • Ability to create productive business environment for associates by providing opportunities to demonstrate/develop their skill sets.
