Job Purpose:

Under the direction of the Manager of Global HR Process & Operations Excellence, the Regional HR Process & Operations Program Manager will support regional leadership in developing and executing the HR transformation strategy across Europe & the Middle East (EMEA). This role is responsible for overseeing regional continuous improvement projects to drive process and operational efficiencies and enhance HR service delivery to Goodyear employees, while ensuring regional initiatives are aligned to the global strategy. Additionally, this person acts as a key subject matter expert in business process and operations analysis, design, and execution for the HR organization and consults teams through adapting and employing best-in-class methodologies to achieve operational excellence objectives.

 

Main Responsibilities:

HR Services:

  • Support HRPO leadership in accelerating progress towards the future state HR services operating model. Use established tools and methodologies to evaluate processes for potential fit in regional and global HR Services centers.
  • Analyze opportunities for transferring and/or consolidating work across centers, including impacts to FTEs, costs, and service delivery.
  •  Oversee end-to-end migration projects across the region to ensure strategic alignment and results delivered within established time and budget. Help develop standard operational metrics across HR Service centers and methods for ongoing operations reviews.
     
    Process Improvement, & Project Management:
  • Support and manage continuous improvement projects within region and act as an internal consultant to our HR teams on project management, process improvement, and change management methodologies.
  • Support HR leadership in analyzing operating/service delivery models for opportunities to reduce costs, gain efficiencies, and improve service to internal customers.
  •  Develop business cases, implementation plans, and sustainability measures to successfully achieve CI objectives on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate internally across geographies and functions to develop innovative solutions, tailored plans, and agile approaches to address unique challenges HR teams face within region
     
    Change Management:
  • Effectively assess change impacts across region and down to the local level for both HR and the businesses they support.
  •  Develop and execute change strategies to drive adoption and engagement and ensure sustainable results. Develop and deploy regional governance aimed at making faster, more effective decisions and facilitating effective feedback loops in order to continuously iterate improvements on deployed solutions.    
     
  • HRPO Methodologies & HR Capabilities:
  • Support global HRPO efforts to develop standard tools & methodologies and develop & manage regional deployment/communication plans to educate the HR organization on how to effectively use them.
  • Help identify governance gaps and develop models that drive standardization where appropriate and improve decision making while allowing enough flexibility for regional differences.
  • Support efforts to build capabilities in the areas of project management, continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, and change management for the regional HR organization.
  • Network internally and externally to stay abreast of best practices and integrate learnings into current methodologies.   

 

To Join Our Team, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or other related field
  • PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification desired
  • Minimum of 5 years leading complex projects, preferably across a global organization 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving operational improvement and change in an HR, shared service, or related environment    
  • Experience employing Lean, Six Sigma, or other related process improvement methodologies in a professional environment
  • Proven results generating efficiencies (costs, ROI, resources, etc.) and influencing change in a complex, cross-cultural environment   
  • Excellent analytic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels of an organization
  • Knowledgeable in Lean, Six Sigma, or other related business process improvement methods to drive organizational efficiency
  • Ability to operate independently and drive results in a complex, multi-layered organization
  • Ability to be agile, adjust to changing priorities, operate in and adapt to circumstances with high levels of uncertainty
