About the Role:

 

The position is a key role to achieve volume, product mix and gross profit objectives by capturing market back demand with support of proactive opportunity management and risk mitigation activities aligned across multi-functional departments.

 

 

The opportunity:

 

As a member of the Consumer Europe East South team you will:

 

  • Drive Assumption Based Planning - capture market-back/customer demand signal in terms of number by season, month, brand & product mix. Challenge assumptions based on market data, Sales feedback & analytics. Give final recommendation on the demand forecast in alignment with local Sales and EES SalesOps manager. In cooperation with regional Demand planning team assure that signed-off demand plan is accurately incorporated to corporate demand planning system.
  • Ensure detailed and fact based support of the sales force and Product Business Unit management. Make recommendations based on analysis and interpretation of key customer/sales data: sell-in/sell-out/inventory, customer performance (volume, mix & financial topline), CRM system. Provide recommendations from the data analysis to deliver sustainable profitable growth.
  • Prepare and facilitate country Consensus and Sufficiency monthly discussions, including preparation of decks within the S&OP process.
  • Detect opportunities & risk through interaction with Sales, Pricing, Marketing, Supply Chain and through analysis of the data and prepare mitigation actions in case of gaps.
  • Coordinate cross-functional mitigation actions (marketing campaigns, pricing, sales incentives,…) to secure the opportunities materialization.
  • Co-pilot channel strategy shaping activities with the Country Sales Management in alignment with company’s strategy. Ensure proper Master Distribution Plan creation across EES and ensure that value proposition is aligned with channel strategy. Make recommendations on where and how to sell profitably (channels, distribution footprint, "white spots",...).
  • Coordinate tender planning and follow-up on execution
  • Maintain customer master data
  • Prepare various reports and develop new in case of business requirements

Education and experience:

 

  • University degree in Business Administration and Management or Economics or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience (Sales support, Demand planning, Analytics, Supply chain or similar)
  • Experience with multi markets analytics

 

Languages:

 

  • Advanced English

 

Skills & Qualifications:

 

Knowledge:

 

  • Profound Excel knowledge (Pivots and IF functions are must, VBA an advantage) and other MS Office tools
  • SAP, EDW and Tableau reporting tool knowledge are an advantage

 

Skills:

 

  • Pro-active, self-driven with “can do” attitude.  
  • Ability to work with lots of data, solid analytical and synthetical skills. Good problem-solver. Highly structured approach.
  • Ability to foster relationships and credibility quickly at all levels, work in international environment with remote teams
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and drive activities/projects to completion
  • Good communication and presentation skills
