Early Equipment Management Leader

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Purpose: Manage and coordinate CapEx, including cost estimates, financially justifying projects, preparing budgets, reviewing designs, and managing resources to ensure proper installation and commissioning of equipment. Main Responsibilities: - Lead, coordinate and deploy the Early Equipment Management pillar (EEM) using PO methodology. - To secure vertical equipment ramp-ups. - To assure new equipment follows EHS and Goodyear standards. - To secure capital investment per AOP. - Monthly control of cash CapEx. - Monthly follow up on projects in TECO and to be Closed to comply with Goodyear finance´s policies. - Build and update Peru Capital 5 Years plan, aligned with Rv4C Analysis. - Work with Global Engineering for major projects, from its initial feasibility study, scope definition, until its completion and closing. - Coordinate equipment transfers when applicable.
Education:
Required: Bachelor´s degree in Mechatronic, Electronic, Mechanical Engineer or similar. Desired: Master level degree.
Experience:
Minimum of five years engineering / project management in an industrial environment. Experience in leading multidisciplinary technical team members to achieve project execution goals. CapEx and budget management experience
Knowledge:
Excellent communication, team building, coaching/mentoring, negotiating, and relationship building skills are required. Ability using ERP (SAP-PS), along with CAD and MS Office software. Ability to communicate in English. Fundamental understanding of industrial equipment, along with knowledge of project management best practices and planning/scheduling functionality is required. Knowledge and interpretation of: - PMO - Safety and Quality corporate standards - Machine safety risk analysis - ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949 - Plant Optimization
