Primary Purpose of the Position:

 

· The Logistics Manager reports to the Supply Chain Director and with dotted line to the Sr. Logistics Manager LA Region, will have primary accountability manage the operation of the Distribution Center, Logistics Budget, that covers warehousing, Inbound and Outbound Transportation and manage Headcount / Associates / Contractors., Attain AOP (Budget) with objectives focused on improving service and reduction of operating costs; Create estimates for cost trends vs AOP(Budget) and Previous Year and communicate information to the business; Drive standard operating practices that will facilitate operational excellence and flawless execution (Lean).

 

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide tactical & strategic direction on warehouse operations and transportation, Import activities.

· Develop and implement KPI’s to drive improvements

· Direct day to day operational activities with warehouse and transportation teams

· Develop and create standard processes and applying continuous improvement philosophy

· Develop talent and identify high performers.

 

Education:

· Post Graduation in Business Management or Supply Chain/Logistics

· Master's degree desired

· Advanced English

 

Experience:

· +8 years’ experience in supply chain related functions (required), preferably within a retailer or manufacturing

* Successfully managed internal and/or outsourced high-volume distribution and/or transportation from distribution centers Experience with lean management and leadership and application to logistics operations (required)
