Sales OE Manager – CDMX
Primary Purpose of the Position
• Responsible of Sales operation for current and new OE Customers (Consumer and Commercial).
• Management of the different systems and portals of each OE customers, downloading current and future requirements, analyzing volume performance and tracking billing in a weekly basis.
• Coordination of the different internal areas such as Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Logistics to fulfill customer expectations regarding shipments, giving alternatives to avoid any claims or charges.
• Preparation of reports to follow-up and ensure the correct OE operation, through accurate customer forecast, OE MX turnover, status of MX Industry, providing a complete overview about the OE MX Business.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Management and monitoring of the forecast provided by the customers to analyze the appropriate volume tendence / behavior, participating in consensus meetings and / or other related ones.
• Management and follow-up of sales orders with the areas involved: customer service and logistics. Customer contact to obtain information regarding production planning, potential changes on the requirements, insides about new business opportunities.
• Upload invoices into customer web portals / new acquisition information / contracted capacity, according to each customer requirement / specification.
• Monitoring and control of Customer Payments, downloading payments data from the customer's online portals or by receiving email and sharing the information with the Collection area for the payment application. Detection and monitoring of documents that affect the customer's account status such as credit notes, re-invoices, penalties or compensations, etc.
• Perform monitoring reports including forecast, billing, transits and stock status to provide a complete overview of OE customers and products.
• Develop a data base to prospect new customers focus on commercial vehicles and new business opportunities with the current ones.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree - Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
• Advanced level of English
Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive industry focus on OEMs / customer-oriented processes / sales operation.
Knowledge & Skills
• Forecast management.
• SAP expertise.
• Advanced knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Office. Advanced knowledge of accounting and collection.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers.
• Problem solving.
