Primary Purpose of the Position:

 

  • Manage and Define business sustainable with OE Customer, creating strong business relationship to guarantee strategic executing, aligned with replacement market strategy.
  • To develop and maintain a strong business relation with the OEM’s customers while cultivating contacts and enhancing both business and technical partnership.

 

  • Generating commercial and technical integration to identify in advance OEM’s technical requirement, to support OEM’s technical needs, creating a value proposition to the customers.
  • Utilizing an internal cross functional team approach integrate with technical team, financial, supply chain and PBU’s;

 

  • Manage and follow the target market segment (Market A) and profitability defined by Goodyear LAT (SOB, Price and Volume).
  • Support and work with others regions (Europe and Asia) to elaborate Global Business Gates in main customers , in the main platforms;

 

  • To have a strategic plan to grow in luxury segments (BMW, Mercedes Benz and AUDI).
  • Work close with technical areas (Goodyear and OEM’s) to pre identify customer needs and trends (platforms, rim sizes, product and specs) supporting pre develop before RFQ.
  • Manage price mechanism to guarantee profitability, SOM as defined in the AOP.
  • Elaborate business case to support Stage and Gate process for the new OEM’s project, having all the information for the gate deck.

 

 

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

· Work Close with Technical team (OEM’s and Goodyear) creating a commercial and technical business partnership to support a RFQ process, in have Goodyear as technical and commercial supply reference.

  • Elaborate sales volume plan (AOP and SSI) utilizing all OEM’s information and market trends;

Monitor marketing information for OEM’s and provide information to elaborate the report (S&OP, TMS and RvsCC ) to guarantee the sales estimates to attend the target of Goodyear LAT (Goodyear's Volume, Industry's Volume and SOM).

 

  • Grown and maintain volume and share with the main OEM’s, having presence in main platforms supporting and in accordance with business strategy (replacement and OE).
  • Work close with others region in support of global BID;
  • Manage past due with account under responsibility

 

  • Provide information to support other areas (Financial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to drive and manage the OEM business;
  • Contribute to the daily planning of the business, supporting account manager and OE LAT Director, forecasting processes, business performance processes, and organizational;

 

  • Work close with Automotive Engineering to find solution to minimized the Down Stream;
  • Daily analysis on price and financial to guarantee good account profitability;
  • Strong close relation with the customers and other regions finding business opportunities.

 

 

Education:

University degree, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering's. MBA (desired)

English orally and written skills (ADVANCED level)

 

 

Experience:

 

  • Required:
  • Strong skills in develop business relation, communication, team work, negotiation, execution and work under pressure;
  • Experience in commercial area;
  • Experience in the elaboration of strategy to follow the situation of Brazil MKT in the OE process business.
  • Experience in analyzes finances, P&L Management with target to improvement in the profitability;
  • Price methodology;
  • Knowledge in develop, present and approval of sales strategy;
  • Knowledge in the tire development, automotive engineering and product quality (TS);
  • Proven International Experience (USA, Europe and Asia) in global negotiation with understanding of requirements of each market compared with Brazil;
