Business Analytics Specialist – Intelligent Mobility Solutions

 

About the Role

Join Goodyear’s Global Sightline Business Development Team, a forward-thinking group driving the commercialization of breakthrough technologies from our Research & Development division. As a Business Analytics Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, helping shape the future of mobility through strategic insights and data-driven decision-making.

Your primary focus will be supporting Goodyear SightLine, our global tire intelligence platform that transforms real-time sensor data into actionable insights for safer, smarter transportation. You’ll work cross-functionally to uncover market opportunities, validate business models, and guide strategic decisions that accelerate growth.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a passion for building and refining business and pricing models. Experience in fintech, startups, or innovation-driven organizations is a strong plus.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and evaluate innovative business models, identifying key unknowns and modeling their impact.
  • Design and implement pricing strategies using value-based and cost-plus approaches.
  • Build stochastic models to assess potential outcomes and guide strategic decisions.
  • Support in-market experiments to validate minimum viable prototypes and business hypotheses.
  • Create scalable business processes and methods to support global operations.
  • Prepare financial statements and revenue allocation plans based on strategic assumptions.
  • Lead communication efforts across technology, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Create compelling materials for customer engagement and product pricing.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Marketing, Economics, or Social Sciences.
  • MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, or consulting.
  • Background in engineering, consumer products, anthropology, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong decision-making skills in ambiguous environments.
  • Proven experience in business analytics, pricing strategy, and iterative experiment design.
  • Experience in fintech or startup environments is highly desirable.
