Business Process Lead (m/f)

About the Position 
Leads local deployment of Procurement processes and tools. Actively participates in the design of business processes and tools that integration with operations and works toward full integration of the end to end supply chain.

Maintains day to day operations of business processes and tools.  Responsible for assessing effectiveness of current business processes and recommending ongoing process improvements.

Actively engages stakeholders in the execution of strategic initiatives through thorough communication and change management.  

 

Primary Responsibilities  
Standardized Deployment of Strategic Initiatives: 

  • Leads local deployment of Procurement processes and tools. 
  • Responsible for on-time and accurate completion of project implementation.  
  • Accountable for first-line problem solving and troubleshooting. 
  • Identifies and assesses broader systematic issues, and partners with rest of BPE team to resolve. 
  • Actively participates in the design of business processes and tools that integration with operations and works toward full integration of the end to end supply chain.   

 

Business Process Management: 

  • Maintains day to day operations of business processes and tools. 
  • Responsible for assessing effectiveness of current business processes and recommending ongoing process improvements to BPE leadership.

 

Internal Stakeholder Engagement: 

  • Develops and maintains relationships with local stakeholders (procurement, supply chain, business leaders).  
  •  Actively engages stakeholders in the execution of strategic initiatives through thorough communication and change management

 

Compliance: 

  • Accountable for thorough knowledge of and compliance with local and international compliance regulations.  
  • Responsible for local deployment of compliance reporting processes.   

 

Building Organizational Capability: 

  • Accountable for planning and executing 7-Step Strategic Sourcing Process/Enhanced Sourcing Tools training locally.  
  • Manages tracking and reporting of training completion.      

 

Language:

English is a must. French or German are considered as an asset.

 

Required Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related field 
  • 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or a related Operational/Business function required.  
    • Previous strategic sourcing experience preferred.  
    • Experience in a related industry preferred.
       

Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of core procurement processes and/or project management/change management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong financial/statistical analysis, organization skills, strong Microsoft Access/Excel skills and/or other database programs, a team player,  influence skills,  self-directing, and ability to work in a very fast paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Manufacturing process, mathematical modeling, international experience
