Continuous Improvement Specialist (m/f)

The opportunity
We are currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist (m/f) to join our team in Luxembourg. On this position you will:

 

  • Provide support to the Business Center and the Manufacturing Unit, by providing help, guidance & coordination for the different pillar team members on various activities, including conducting audits (self-audits, layered audits etc.). 
  • Ensure that Business Team pillars stays on plan and coordinate & conduct trainings related to Plant Optimization as required.
  • Drive an environment of open sharing between BC centers.
  • Support Daily Management System execution, including reporting results to Management, identifying pitfalls/roadblocks, capturing and communicating lessons learned and celebrating successes.
  • Be the reference person with regards to Focused Improvement (FI) processes and activities for the Manufacturing Unit.
  • Drive improvement activities, implementing / reinforcing FI processes, coaching peers and following-up on progress.
  • Support longer-term activities related to Manufacturing Master Plan, RvsCC and CapEx projects execution.

 

To join our team you will need: 

 
Education:

The candidate should have a Master’s Degree. 

 

Experience:

  • Desired experience in using various problem-solving tools & helping with continuous improvement projects
  • Good understanding of the Plant Optimization.
  • Working experience in a Manufacturing environment is a plus.

 

Languages:
English and French are required. German is an asset.

 

Knowledge and skills:

  • Strong team building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project & time management skills.
  • Able to manage various priorities & resolve potential conflict.
  • Knowledge of tools and methodology used in Plant Optimization.
  • Computer literate (Excel, Pwpt, Word).
  • Very good communication skills.
